Biography
William was born on October 8th 1902 to parents Edward McDarby & Annie Murphy.
In the 1911 census he is living with his family at house 48 in Doonane, Co. Laois.
In the 1926 census Edward, Anne and sons William, & James and daughters Mary and Annie are at the family home in Doonane. William (Willie) is working in the mines alongside his father.
William married Ellen 'Nellie' Shea on August 16th 1929. They had two children Eddie and John. They lived in Newtwon, Doonane, Co Laois.
Nellie died in 1973, William died in 1982 and they are buried in the graveyard at Doonane, Co Laois. Here is a picture of the Headstone.
