Biography
Anne 'Nan' McDarby was born on either April 8th or April 10th 1916 (Birth registered twice) to parents Edward McDarby & Annie Murphy in Doonane, Co. Laois.
In the 1926 census Edward, Anne and sons William, & James and daughters Mary and Annie are at the family home in Doonane. William (Willie) is working in the mines alongside his father.
Nan married Tommy Hennessy on April 11th 1945, they lived in Ballylinan, Co Laois. They had no children.
Tommy died on Jun 24th 1988, Nan died on September 3rd 2012. Here is a picture of the Headstone.
